Grocy: Grocery Management 3.8.1

Grocy for Android leverages Grocy's official API to deliver an aesthetically pleasing and highly functional interface on mobile devices. It incorporates advanced barcode scanning capabilities and intuitive batch processing features, enabling efficient management of grocery items and supplies.

Note: This application functions as a companion to a self-hosted Grocy server instance. It cannot operate independently or directly manage product data. Users can explore all features by utilizing the demo mode available on the login screen.

Compatibility requirements:

• The app requires Grocy version 3.1.3 or higher on your server.
• An alternative deployment option includes integrating the Grocy Add-on on a Hass.io server, with detailed instructions available in our GitHub FAQ.

This application supports HTTPS encryption when your server has a valid, publicly trusted SSL certificate from authorities like Let's Encrypt. For older Android devices, be aware that newer CAs might present compatibility issues due to outdated trusted CA lists unless system updates are applied. The app also supports encryption for servers using self-signed certificates, provided these certificates are installed in the Android user certificate store.
